Text4baby, the first free health text messaging service in the U.S. and Russia, is a civil society-driven initiative that transmits accurate, text-length health information to pregnant women and new mothers in a format that is personal and timely. Text4baby Russia was launched on February 20.

U.S. Deputy Secretary Burns: CSPP is “Inspiring Citizens to Change their Local Landscapes”
“The US-Russia Civil Society Partnership Program is helping to connect Americans and Russians who share common cause in bringing positive change to their communities,” said US Deputy Secretary of State William J. Burns at an address to the Eurasia Foundation on April 24, 2012.
Burns made the comments at the Eurasia Foundation annual dinner in Washington, DC.
