US-Russia Partnership Grants

The 2012 CSPP Linkage Grant submission period closed on March 30, 2012. The announcement of grant awards will be made on April 30, 2012.

On January 18, 2012, fifteen partnership projects were selected to receive initial “Contact Grants" to facilitate the development of larger proposals for Stage Two Linkage grants.

Linkage Grant applicants did not need to have applied for or been awarded a Contact Grant to apply for a partnership grant. Only applications that demonstrate impact in both the United States and Russia are being considered for Linkage Grants. Mandate areas are based on the priorities identified by the 11 working groups at the November 14-15, 2011 CSPP Conference in Moscow.

Stage One Contact Grants Awarded January 18, 2012

CSPP is pleased to announce the completion of the Contact Grant initial stage of the CSPP grant competition. On January 18, 2012, fifteen partnership projects were selected to receive Contact Grants.

CSPP invited pairs of US and Russian NGOs to submit Contact Project proposals of up to $3,000 that would serve exclusively to facilitate the development of larger Linkage Project proposals. Contact Grant funds cover expenses for the establishment of communication channels and organization of meeting(s) between partner organizations. Contact Grants facilitate the development and submission of the Linkage Project proposal, including the exchange of information and experience to plan for concrete collaboration on the Linkage Project.
